Fundraising
Cioffi's Pizza is a community oriented restaurant that
delights in assisting local organizations with funding and
other forms of support. For example:
Parkview Drama holds their cast parties in our dining
room after the final performance of every show. This
keeps young high school students off of Highway 78 late
at night, keeping them very close to home and in an
environment where they can  be themselves without fear
of being asked to leave. On the day of the cast parties,
we donate 10 % of our profits directly to the Drama
Department.
Smaller organizations, like our local Mountain Park Baseball
All-Stars team, have taken advantage of this same offer.
They stuffed mailboxes all over their neighborhoods full of
flyers promoting "All-Stars Day" at Cioffi's and were
pleasantly surprised by the amount of support they got
from neighbors they had never even met.
We donated a gift certificate to the Smoke Rise Morning Glories
Garden Club, which was included in a raffle that netted $1,800.
The Morning Glories Club used that money to "support ongoing
beautification projects such as gardens at Smoke Rise Elementary
School, the Rosser Road Triangle..." (Joyce Ray, Fashion Show
Raffle Chairman, October 25, 2007)
We donated gift certificates to the Dream
House for Medically Fragile Children, Inc.
They were able to raise $31,000 at their
Music on Main Event in 2007.
A little closer to home, we were able to
provide happy memories for a local family
whose father is currently serving his second
tour in Iraq. We hope to see him and his
family again very soon.
We donated 3 trays of sandwiches to Drs.
Kevin Laccur and Charles Stearns towards
the survivors reception for Relay for Life.
A local church group was donated a few cheesecakes
to sell at their annual New York Mission Trip Cake
Sale. They had a very successful sale and greatly
enjoyed their trip to the Big Apple.
